9/11 Memorial

The South Carolina First Responders Memorial was created and opened to the public on September 11, 2011, marking the 10 year anniversary of the attacks on the United States.

The Memorial includes two 25 foot granite towers, bearing the names of First Responders from the Midlands who have given their lives to Country and Community since the attacks.

The Memorial also has a pair of steel beams from Tower One of the World Trade Center, and a granite memorial dedicated to service K-9's.

The Memorial is a soulful place of honor, and makes a wonderful backdrop to your special day, that allows you to include a loved one who has made the ultimate sacrifice.

Capital City Club
Capital City Club

Ever thought about what the Capital City looks like from the sky?  Aside from chartering a private plane and flying around for a while are the amazing 360 degree views from one of the tallest buildings in the Palmetto State.

At the top of the Capital Building (aka BB&T Building) is the Capital City Club, a private business club with the distinction of being the first integrated  private club in Columbia.

The Club is members only, however, Palmetto Pop-Up Weddings has build solid relationships with the Club, and offer an opportunity* to experience to make your memory as close to the clouds as possible without checking a bag!
